About PhotoFlux
PhotoFlux is a simple and powerful app for organizing and exporting your photos and videos. It helps you transfer media from your iOS device to external storage, cloud services, or share them with other apps.
Designed with privacy as a core principle, PhotoFlux processes all your media locally on your device. No data is uploaded to external servers, and you have complete control over your photos and videos.
How to Use PhotoFlux
Getting Started
Choose Media Type
Select 'Photos' or 'Videos' from the home screen
Browse by Date
Your media is automatically organized by year and month
Select Items
Tap the circles to select months you want to export
Export
Tap 'Export' and choose your destination
Export Destinations
App Storage
Save to the app's local storage, accessible via the Files app
External Folder
Choose any folder on external drives, iCloud Drive, or other locations
Share / Open In...
Export and share to any app (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.)
Tips
Organize by Date
Photos and videos are grouped by year and month for easy selection
Select Multiple Months
Tap individual months or tap the year to select all months at once
Cloud Storage
Use 'Share / Open In...' for the best experience with Google Drive and OneDrive
Preserve Originals
Exported files maintain their original quality and format
Progress Tracking
Watch real-time progress during export operations
Privacy & Security
PhotoFlux is designed with privacy in mind:
- All processing happens locally on your device
- No data is uploaded to external servers
- No tracking or analytics
- You control which photos and videos to export
- Access can be revoked anytime in Settings
Troubleshooting
Photo library access denied
Go to Settings → PhotoFlux → Photos and enable access
Export failed
Ensure you have enough storage space and the destination folder is accessible
